Pre-K to Halloween

so just when I think I have caught up on everything I need to do...

I think ....

and then I remember I haven't uploaded to this blog lately...

so here it goes...

the last I left you we had just returned from our Disney VAYCAY...

that seriously was magical!!!

and now I start you off with...

pics from his first day in Pre-K

he is really growing up fast...
Drew is adjusting to Pre-K ...kinda
he goes a few times a week and MOST of the time he gets a thumbs up...
and sometimes he has hiccups...
we are working on those hiccups
his teacher is an absolute blessing and we adore her...
so does Drew...
we all agree he starts being a toot when he is bored and is frustrated that the others
aren't at his level...
he is reading at a HIGH 2nd grade level
and is SUPER BRIGHT...
the teacher and my whole family are working on social skills with him
on how to handle frustrating situations...
he might read way above level BUT his behavior is typical 5 year old BOY!!!!

we celebrated his first day with his FAVE

he only eats the icing... ever

never have I seen him actually eat the cake part

my parents still watch him while we are at work...
they take and pick him up from Pre-K because the hours are wonky and we are already at work or
are NOT off yet...

took a trip to the farmer's market and this was there... he loved it!!!

HALLOWEEN was so much fun
Ken made Drew's costume...
he had a parade at school and he by far was the BEST DRESSED

here we are headed off to Trick or Treat

we had to visit my family first

and here we are family pic on Halloween

so it is almost Thanksgiving and believe me when I think of things I am thankful for...

being a MOM is number one!!!

we love you guys and with you a joyous Thanksgiving Day

lego heaven

we recently went to the grand opening of the new LEGO store...
Drew got to make a large piece to add to the HUGE R2D2
it was super cool
and then he got to take pics with some of his favorite Star Wars characters...
Ken is friends with most of them...
they are all in a volunteer group that dresses up in costume for non profit and fundraising purposes...
today was for the tornado victims
here are some pics...

Ken is really good friends with Jaimie who made his own R2D2
these pics loaded up in the wrong order BUT ... further down you can see where Drew got to meet R2 in the parking garage and get one on one photos...
so cute

Drew got a certificate for helping build the giant R2
again not sure why but photos loaded in the wrong order and it won't let me fix it

he had a bunch of fun...

Trip of our LIVES... loved it

sorry I have been MIA...
but I have a good excuse...

Ken got us a bass fishing excursion... Drew caught the first one

we stayed for a week and had a blast

the fireworks were amazing because we were there during the 4th of july

we finished our trip with a few days in The Sipp...visiting my Gma and Aunt... so much fun

so as you can see we had a very very busy last few weeks
I seriously took over 800 pics
but didn't think you wanted to see ALL of them so these are a few of my faves...

we had such a GRAND time and can't wait to go back again!!!

oh one more thing....
bub had a photoshoot while we were in The Sipp...
