So I have been super bad about keeping this updated...
I  apologize
I have some excuses but all in all I am sorry
here are some pics for our recent trip to the San Antonio Rodeo

I will have to tell you we had several and I mean SEVERAL people stop us and tell us how handsome Drew is!!!
I of course already knew this *wink* but we thanked them!!!



 I skipped school
and we met up with the Kinders
from my school
they had a field trip to the rodeo and
I am really good friends with the Kinder teachers
so we tagged along with them


 he loved riding this pony named Dolly and got to ride her 3 times because she wasn't cooperating for the camera :)









 the petting ZOO was his favorite...

 nice healthy Rodeo lunch...
he is a picky eater but I can always get chicken strips and fries







 another fave was the reptile house
we only stayed til Paw Paw got off
Paw Paw is a volunteer in the horse barn
we got to the grounds at like 10 and we were headed home by 1
 this was on the way home...
we did a lot in 3 hours
it is tough being a handsome cowboy

we had a crafty birthday party and all the party guests got to paint their very own bird house tweet tweet it was sweet...

here is one of my besties and her adorbs daughter baby H she is super cute and sweet

my nephew picked the rocket ship and went at it... it turned out so cute

Hubs had to get in there even after I said NO... bubs is not thrilled that dad-o is jumping in

it is blurry I know but this is Itty Bitty and her itty bitty... we teach 4th together...we are besties too LOL

and the smiles return... he is so talented he can paint with 2 hands

some of my other besties.... love my girls... don't I look like I just had a crafty birthday with about a dozen kids... yep yep I do... I should have worn party lashes that would have helped!!!

we had a family party later and he wanted a carrot cupcake... wish granted.

the family party was at Gpa's and Memow's house...

although it felt like a tornado of a weekend... it was all worth it

Great Grandma lives in Gulfport, Mississippi... i use to spend my summers there and LOVED it!!! I have very fond memories of summers in THE SIPP!!! I was super excited to share some with Bub!!!

Playing in Grandma's backyard is the best!!! grandma liked watching him too :)

went to my FAVE place to eat... BLOW FLY INN... it is set up on huge pier and beams and the view is SPECTACULAR... and so is the FOOD... southern home cooking at its best

Our waitress was a blast and so sweet... Drew introduces himself as Drew Brees (the Saint's QB) so she made sure to hang his Blow Fly right by The REAL DREW Brees' fly... so cool

Had to visit my Aunt Deb... she and Uncle Larry have never met Drew... look at their backyard... I am jealous... we had a blast spending an afternoon with them

He fell asleep after Aunt Peg's (that is what he calls Aunt Deb) and so we went back to grandma's... we were going to go to the beach again... he woke up and was not happy SOOOOOO....back in the car and off we go

at the beach and we had a lot of fun... it was LOW TIDE and lots of fish and crabs were around...hubs is obviously excited about the pic with me right? and I didn't realize so much of me is cut off BUT I am not redoing this

this bakery is on the way to Margaritaville and I thought it would be a great pic... the local kids were allowed to paint a square (not technically a square but ya get it)

other highlights of our trip... cousin Kristen came over to visit...  and we went shopping of course AND i had to share the sno cone shack with bub... I went to this little shack ALL the time when I was little...

Our trip was great I LOVE seeing my grandma and Drew had a blast everyday!!! our 10 hour ride home was mostly through storms BUT bub handled it pretty good... HUBS not so much... LOL
